Directions:
Serves 4
Ingredients:
- 1/2 lb ground beef (doesn't have to be exact)
- 1 tsp dried chopped onion, or 1/2 small onion chopped
- 1/2 lb uncooked macaroni
- 2 cans cream of tomato soup
- 1 can corn, drained
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- Cook macaroni noodles in a medium-large pot according to the directions, drain. Return noodles to pot and set aside.
- In hot frying pan, cook ground beef and onion, breaking up the meat often with a spatula until the beef is no longer pink. Drain the fat into a bowl for disposal. (Never drain fat into your sink because it will clog it over time).
- In macaroni pot, add drained meat, cream of tomato soup and drained corn. Mix and taste. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
Tips:
- You may substitute ground turkey or chicken instead of beef.
- Use more or less meat to your liking.
- Use any type of noodles you have in your cabinet, it will taste the same.
- If you don't like onions, you can omit this ingredient. Just be sure to add salt and pepper to the meat and/or garlic powder.
- You could add cheese to make it even more delicious.
- If it's not hot, warm up to desired temp on low heat.
- Serves great with a simple salad and/or garlic bread.
